Earnings Valuations

A valuation technique used for on-going companies that values the ‘future free cash flows’ of the company. The technique captures the key drivers of value of the firm and makes a projection of the Cost of Capital to discount the future free cash flows of the company including the terminal value of the company. This is a critical technique particularly when operating in high growth, raising new capital, new equity partners or in joint venturing.
